(More customer reviews)I've always been the biggest fan of steamers, because of how cleanand safe they are, back in South America, I used to have a really good one that unfortunately, I couln't bring with me to the US. My husband and I decided to get a big steamer that could run for a longer time. we bought the Shark ($100)because it could hold a lot of water, but, of course, it turned out to be a piece of junk. So i threw it away and decided I was done with steamers... until i found this one at Bed, Bath & Beyond. I recognized it from the "as seen on tv" and frankly, i had my doubts about it, but i got it anyway. Much to my delight, it turned out to be the same one i had back home!
So, what you get with this baby, is a mean, clean, bacteria-killer machine. It will clean ANYTHING, I mean anything. It's great for the toilet (ewww, you'll clean that thing in a sec) it blasts grease and stuff you thought you'd never been able to clean. Forget about Ajax or CLR, or any other toxic cleaner that are so dangerous.Great for car interiors, Darn, i even use it to 'iron' my clothes! It is also great on carpet stains. It's just fantastic, I could go on forever with its pros, but i'll give you the cons also :a) it's small, so it only takes a very small amount of water (comes with a measuring) cup, therefore, it runs for about 20 mins, and of course, it runs out of steam just when you're getting started. And you have to wait about 5 mins for it to cool off to refill it, and of course, wait for the water to boil again. b) Don't forget you're dealing with boiling water, so be very careful.c) Not very good on windows or mirrors, the steams turns into water, so it's too messy for glass, also, be sure you have a rag or sponge to soak up the water and dirt. Other than that, I'm sure you'll love it!
