(More customer reviews)I have two male dogs and live in a rented carpeted apartment and with on of the dogs being prone to marking so having this is more of a neccessity than anything else.
I really like the way it works, doesn't over soak the carpet, and it's large water resevoir helps do larger areas without multiple stops. I have noticed that it works much better if the heater is on and I use very hot tap water when filling.
I pair this with the Spot Bot so I haven't, and probably won't need to use the attachments but this cleaner does a very good job. The only thing I don't like it that pet hair seems to collect in the brush area, you cannot easily remove the brush or the shield to clean the hair so cleaning the machine after use can take a while. But that's pretty much the only negative I have on this.
