(More customer reviews)We were not at all happy with this item. It did not do what it said it would. I wanted something to pick up pet hair. Hoky suggested a different model which we also tried. Not so good either. We ended up with a Bissell at half the price and it does a great job. If you buy one be sure you understand two things. Check to see if the site will return your money if you are not happy with the product. The place we got if from wouldn't. Amazon took care of the problem. Second, the handle is really hard to take appart if you want to send it back.

(More customer reviews)People who claim that the One Sweep Broom doesn't work, just didn't use it correctly. Taking short, firm sweeps on carpet, always pulling the broom toward you, it pulls out imbedded dust and hair that my vacuum left behind. Also, I must tell you that I used the One Sweep only days after having my carpet professionally cleaned, and it STILL pulled out hair from the fibers!
Make no mistake, it requires that you put physical effort into the process. However, the results are nothing short of miraculous. The debris does not easily float into your dustpan. Remember, you are ridding yourself of stuff that lingers due to tangling and static electricity. The secret is to work in small sections -- finish one area before moving on to the next.
The result is absolutely amazing and worth every bit of energy expended.

To avoid this, you must tilt the rake up at an angle that utilizes only about 20% of the rake head's surface. It is, however, a handy tool for quick pick-ups.

It will clean the area between the floor and carpet as well. Just remember to put the brushes toward the area you want cleaned, as it will not pick up along the side as some vacuums do. I am very satisfied with this purchase.
