(More customer reviews)My wife and I had about 12-15 really tough pet stains that were about a year old from our Mini-pinscher. We tried 4 other carpet cleaners that could not remove the stains. We rented a steamer which could not remove the stains. We then hired professional cleaners to come out and they could not remove the stains. We started to look at new carpet, thinking there was nothing else we could do (the stains were really really bad and right in our living room). THANKFULLY, I stumbled across spot shot at Sams Club and figured "what's another $10 at this point?" I was AMAZED when it got every bit of stain out of our carpet. Saved us $1,000's! If you are considering this product for pet stains - do not hesitate - it works GREAT!

(More customer reviews)Oh, how I wish I had checked reviews before I bought this product! Whoever designed this product was apparently a hateful, vengeful person who secretly wants to ruin the day of housewives everywhere. Some of my favorite features of this product are:
When you are cleaning up a disgusting spot of something, this device will randomly spew the dirty water out of the side vents, usually all over your legs as you are crouched over the spot trying to remove it. This happens when the product has a bare tablespoon of dirty water. Would it have been so hard to, I don't know, make the holding tank big enough to hold the dirty water? Or maybe make it where, when slightly full, the dirty water goes ANYWHERE other than on you and your house? Have you ever smelled hot dog urine water that has been steamed out of a vent? That smell will stay in your house for MONTHS, and no amount of spot scrubbing will help.
The scrub brush is pretty much useless, it kind of scrubs the spot, but you have to put so much pressure on the scrubber to make it reach the carpet you end up with a cramp in your wrist. You also can't really get the brush clean, it's in an awkward spot on the device.
You need the strength of a gorilla to pry the plug that keeps the dirty water in the holding tank. (Haha KEEPS it in the tank? What a laugh!) You will have to grab an awkward green tab and yank and pull and curse and...BOOM it pops open and spews that dirty water (what is left of it after the vents steamed it all over you) all over your face.
The price is good, but do you really want to pay money to curse and hate and loath every time your dog makes a piddle on the carpet? This product is poorly designed, I've been using it for 6 months now, and I'm about to throw it in the garbage and buy something else. I won't even give this thing away to someone, there isn't anyone in the world I hate that much.

(More customer reviews)THIS THING IS AWESOME!!!I purchased this to take care of my son's bedwetting accidents when he comes into my room during the middle of the night. It pulls more liquid back out of the mattress than any other spot cleaner or the upholstery attachment from my carpet cleaner. When it arrived, I decided to go back over my mattress to see if it would take out the water marks left from the other machines I'd tried -it took all of them out & left my mattress looking brand new- finished up around 4:30 pm and the mattress was completely dry & ready for bedding well before 8 that same day- not possible with any of the bissel products I tried. The hard surface attachment is a nice feature of well & did a very nice job on the kitchen tile grout.
The only negative/cons I can come up with for this item is the fill line on the dirty reservoir side is a bit lower than what the tank has capacity for, the heads are a little difficult to detach, but I'm more than willing to put up with it for the amount of liquid it pulls out of a fabric surface, and the last would be the length of the hose- it could be a little bit longer to make cleaning items like a mattress easier.
One other word of caution- be prepared for the amount of dirt this thing will pull out of whatever surface you use it on!!!This thing is great!

(More customer reviews)This product is a complete waste of money. I followed the instructions (spray, scrub with damp cloth, then wipe with dry cloth) and guess what? Both clothes were pristine clean after that. There was supposed to be dirt on the cloth transferred from the car fabric! Needless to say, the car fabric and carpet remained as dirty as they were before.
I have used another product in the past, and that did the job well, you could see lots of dirt on the cloth you used to wipe. Too bad I cannot remember what the brand was :(

My 16 month old was running around without a diaper and had an accident with number two and we thought for sure the stain wouldn't come out, but it did. I love this stuff. I grew up with the white fizzy stuff, and my wife and I have had some stains (from detergent, of all things) that we could NOT get out for the life of us. We were at Target looking at cleaning solutions discussing which one to buy when the lady next to us recommended Folex. We got it hoping for it to work a little better. I tried it when we got home and was honestly amazed as the stains disappeared before my eyes. I figured it had to have some terrible chemical in it, but all the ingredients were natural and the product is safer than the other carpet cleaners. Seriously, get this stuff, you won;t ever get anything else.

(More customer reviews)I have tried a number of the consumer carpet spot cleaners - foaming, dry and vacuum, etc. They are all pretty much useless, except for Blue Magic. I was not able to find a local source, so I ordered it through Amazon - it was still worth the extra shipping charges! Blue Magic is marketed as a car cleaning product, but we have had no problems using it on home carpeting.
We have four cats. Cats make messes on carpet-some you find right away, and some you don't. Blue Magic tackles it all, old or new. Spray, wait a minute or less, blot, maybe rub a bit. End of problem. Seriously.

(More customer reviews)I bought the Bissell SpotLifter 2X to replace an older Bissell model that finally wore out after 5 years. We have 3 indoor cats that frequently soil our rugs and carpeting, so a quick and easy carpet cleaner is a must. The old version worked well, but this model works even better.
The suction is much improved, and this model cleans our rugs and carpet much better than its previous version. Battery life is excellent -- we have used this cleaner several times over the past few weeks and still have yet to recharge the battery (the instructions recommend recharging only after the battery runs down to maximize battery life). The cleaning solution is readily available at places like Target and inexpensive. It is easy to empty the collection chamber after cleaning.
If you want a simple, affordable, rechargeable, cordless spot carpet cleaner, this is the one to buy. If the SpotLifter 2X lasts even half as long as the one it replaces it will have been a very good investment. I would not hesitate to buy it again.
